Marketing FAQs
Can I create my own content as a Laundry Lady or Lad?
Yes, absolutely! If you’re comfortable sharing your experience as a Laundry Lady or Lad, we’d love to see it. We encourage you to post photos or videos that showcase what you do and the area you service, it’s a great way to connect with your local community.
If you do post, please tag us so we can share it through our official accounts:
- Facebook: @thelaundryladycanada
- Instagram: @laundrylady_canada
Just a couple of important things to keep in mind:
- All bookings must go through our website: laundrylady.ca
- Use your own name/account when posting content to avoid confusion with our official pages.
You’re also welcome to share our official posts in local Facebook groups and follow our Digital Marketing Tips in the Knowledge Base to help boost your visibility.

How does Head Office support my marketing efforts?
We actively promote all Laundry Ladies and Lads through:
- Regular social media content
- Localised blog posts and Google Business Profile updates
- Community Facebook group shares
- Ongoing paid advertising campaigns
- Participation in events and podcasts to raise brand awareness
We’re always working behind the scenes to increase visibility in your area and generate more bookings.
How do you work with influencers?
We collaborate with influencers through platforms and direct outreach. Influencers are gifted a voucher to try our service and share their honest experience online.
Every profile that is creating content for us for a partnership will have an “influencer” tag in the system.
If an influencer is booking with you, we’ll give you a heads-up via email. You won’t need to appear in the content unless you’d like to: it’s entirely your choice! These partnerships help grow brand awareness and can also boost your local reach.

Can I run my own ads?
Thanks for your enthusiasm, we really appreciate your passion for growing The Laundry Lady in your community.
To keep our brand messaging consistent and avoid overlapping ad campaigns, all paid advertising is managed by Head Office. We update our strategy weekly to ensure all contractors benefit from broader reach and visibility.
Here’s how you can help instead:
- Share posts from our official Facebook page in your local community groups.
- Please don’t create separate Facebook pages with “The Laundry Lady” in the name, as this can cause confusion.
- Looking to do more locally? We’d love to help. Whether it’s community raffles, local events, or influencer shoutouts, reach out and we can work together on ideas to increase your visibility.
